Freelance design work for Evocha

Evocha
Freelance Designer
British handmade fashion company based in London

Collaborating with Lucas Gordon. first I started off looking through their look book of garments, getting an idea of what their style is and how they want there garments to look. From there I started of designing a wide range of fashion illustrations of formal wear dresses which would fit into their spring and summer collection, experimenting with different trends and making them current, high neck line, low neck line, open back, empire waist line, pleats to create texture, and also body fitting dresses.

Once I explored more into the designs and flat drawings. i narrowed down the designs to four which they were happy with.

Awakening - The joy

Concept One

Brief

Exploring the different ways that jot can be seen through a wide range of research and ideas linking each one to another to form a focus of the word joy.

I started off with looking into the joy of childhood.
" When does a childhood begin and when does it end"
How everything shapes a childhood from experiences and how traces of the past still shapes children today
as a child's thoughts are seen through colour and drawings. As many years ago children used to draw on the ground with chalk and by looking at these images you could get a clear feeling of how that child is and what there childhood as been up till that point in life.

How a child changes to an adult and the effect it can cause

Cultures show there joy through the outfits they ware in special events, the use colour that is presented and the use of material to every detail is shown in the way they are feeling.
