This is my final photo that i chosen from all the others from my photoshoot. I chose this one because its a simple pose which makes the lining and the jacket stand out, you can see the patch pocket on the side and you can also see that it has a standard fly front. The way the body is posed you can see that its a straight cut style.
As everyone knows I love fashion and studied it for 3 years. I love making my own clothes and accessories. I'm a floral lover, mix and matching and the flowers and bow scarfs in my hair it's my trade mark. I love everything about fashion and what I'm doing is talking about fashion trends, current and old, showing off my Fashion Designs/Drawings. There is going to be alot of my opinions and everything which can relate back to the fashion industry. Enjoy x By Louise M Perry

Photoshoot
Within my photo shoot these are photos that I have took on the stand and as well as being on a model to, I have gone for a different range of poses and angels to see what the best angel worked best for my jacket and show the shape and detail of it the best in the photography. from different ages as front, side, worms eye view, 3/4 quarter profile shot and having the garment open, closed and even showing the lining in the photo so it gives you more attention to look at in the photo and makes the whole thing more interesting to look at.
Process of making final garment
The process of making my final garment is being shown in two concept pages and in wrighting under neath aswell.
Concept Pages
The concept pages are developed from the research I have been looking into such as the company im designing for Aquascutum and the trends of jackets such has fitted and oversized blazers for women, also looking in to the details that I want to be using in my final piece such as the collars and pockets, doing this has helped me to develop and design my final garment.
Showing theme with in garment
My theme i chosen was missing and linking this together with my final garment i thought of making the buttons at the front of the jacket invisable to the eye, so to do this i had to make a jacket with a standard fly front which has plackets inside made from lining, one is attached to the facing and the other to the inside of the jacket, this way they buttons will go through the facing placket to be done up and the other placket will hide away the buttons from being seen on top of the jacket!
Also i took negative space into missing for this i wanted to create a really long neckline so this will be seen as the negative space also the lining will be two different colours showing a strong contrast.

Thoughts
The designers that inspired me was Paul smith and Stella mccartney because the way they bring out all the details in the oversized jackets and the way they make it hang on the womens body. They create a masculine shape jacket and make it work better on a womens body than it does a mans and it inspired me to create my jacket using the style of oversized.
Trends
Looking at trends is a main part i have to look into so i know what the new colour trend is coming a out and the shapes in the garment so i can arrange my garment i am designing within the new trend that will be coming out in the next season, for this trend it was oversized jackets and fitted jackets for women but looking at the best fit to make the women's body in the right portion as for example having long length in skirts makes your legs appear longer than what they are. A colour trend that will be coming out is the colour burnt orange which will be wearing with suits mix and matching using this colour in shirts and even dresses to making it more interesting to look at and eye catching.
Reseach
For my research I was looking at fashion designers which have design suits and are designing new suits for the summer and spring collection this year, looking at their work really helps me understand the different jacket styles and colours and what works and what doesn't and getting my inspiration from my research helped me to develop and develop ideas and come up with the best outcome.
Brief
I explored the company aquascutum as we are designing for them, also looking at another five tailoring designers and bespoke tailoring and soft tailoring as this helped to develop ideas and my final piece as such as the little details i looked into as shape, as feminine shape which is the hourglass and the masculine shape which is known as a boyfriend blazer for a tailoed jacket. Aswell as looking into detailing, trims, cut, finish, fabric, collar and pockets which helped me to design and make my garment, by creating a masculine shape but with a elegant long neckline to create length of the body. Using new techniques in construction and fabric development.
Thoughts
Developing and creating illustrations from my memory, thoughts and objects making it personal to me, using different techniques in media as paints, chalks, inks and pen to. The illustrations where being made into a print which was printed on to a t shirt/top

Final Photograph
This is my final photograph i chosen this one out of all the rest because i find the the body pose and how the view of the camera shows the detail and lines in the garment because the way the angles are posed in the body. The contract with the nude colours and the hint of brown around the waist link together with the surroudings because of how dark the leaves and tree is the garment stands out because of its colour, this is why i chosen this area for my photoshoot.
Photoshoot
Within my photoshoot i took a lot of diffenet views from the side, a worms eye view and close up ones to so that you can see how the garment moves with the body in different directions and also i took some photos of how it looks on the stand aswell so you can see more close up of the details in the garment which was created with the different techniques i used.
Process of making final garment
The process of how i made the final garment are shown to you in concept pages and underneath will be in wrighting in how i made it aswell
illustrations and flats
The illustrations I designed have the 3 layers on, as this shows how they all fit together on the person and the flats you can see are done separately and front and back, the colours I was using are browns, nudes, white and greys as this was my colour palette for my work I was using
Concept Pages
My concept pages are my ideas and research i was looking at though out my project helped me to come up with my final designs and garment, to show this I have developed into concept pages to show my process of research.
reseach
My reseach helped me alot and inspired me to create and design ideas alot better because of looking in to layering and knitwear designers gave me a feel of what i could do and how big you could go aswell, and there wasnt a limit which i liked very much. How to layer helped me think of what kayers i was going to use as body con for my first layer and then draping and the techniques for the second then my third which was knitwear.

Brief
I explored layering in fabrics, ethical theme and using different techniques with creating the second layer with looking into knotting, twisting, gathering and draping on the stand as the first layer was body con and having the second layer as recycled knitwear as it was ethical theme by also only using organic jersy and organic cotton to create this garment.
